With non-essential businesses forced to close for awhile, I'm sad to have to postpone my Class of 2020 senior and family spring sessions, but thought this would be the perfect opportunity to catch up on blogging some of my sessions from last spring. It's hard to believe that this session was almost a year ago in beautiful Downtown Frederick, Maryland. So, let's celebrate Molly, who is finishing up her freshman year at Appalachian State University in beautiful North Carolina! Molly has such a timeless, natural beauty that literally took my breath away. We enjoyed our time together in several of my favorite spots downtown, which are beautiful in every season, but especially so in the spring with the lush greenery and budding flowers beginning to surface in the many gardens throughout town. I know I'm not alone in saying that I cannot wait for all of this to pass so that I can get back to working with the awesome Class of 2020 seniors and families I have been planning sessions for. In the meantime, I'm taking advantage of this extra time to work on perfecting my skills through online classes so I can serve you even better when I am able to get back to work! And to my Class of 2020 seniors out there - I think about you EVERY DAY and am praying that your proms and graduations will still go on, even if they have to be delayed! #Classof2020strong

This beautiful young lady and her family contacted me last summer to plan this special session to commemorate her senior year. Bridgette is one of a group of talented young seniors I had the opportunity and privilege of working with this past year. Her session took place in September in a favorite spot of mine, surrounded by lush green fields and golden wildflowers on a warm, late summer evening. Such an incredibly bright, beautiful young lady! We were able to grab a few images of her family at the end of her session, as well! I am currently scheduling the Class of 2021 senior sessions for summer and fall, so get in touch today to set up your in-person consult. Consults will be set up after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted for non-essential businesses. I cannot wait to meet with each of you at that time!
Downtown Frederick is one of my absolute favorite locations for portraits. It truly is beautiful year-round - in the spring, as the trees and gardens are beginning to bud and flower, throughout the summer, with the various fountains and colorful gardens, during autumn with the glorious array of colorful trees and golden sunlight, as well as throughout winter as the architectural features of Frederick especially stand out and create textural interest in your photographs. I absolutely loved working with these beautiful young ladies on a crisp, November evening in Downtown Frederick for their family portraits! I was able to compile their favorite images from the session into a beautiful, fine art album. I love the texture of the distressed leather cover!
Hope, who will soon be graduating from Tuscarora High with the Class of 2020, was an absolute sweetheart and so excited about having her senior portraits taken! As a Frederick native, it seemed only fitting to take advantage of one of the many gorgeous locations available to us in our beautiful town. This location is definitely one of my favorites and was especially beautiful on this warm, fall afternoon in October! Hope's family chose the beautiful fine art album and some wall art pieces to display their favorites in their home. The album is one of my top sellers and the large wall art always makes an impressive statement in your home, with many frame styles to coordinate beautifully with your decor. As I do with every session, we met for a consultation at my New Market studio to discuss location ideas, outfits, hair/makeup suggestions, and to view the beautiful products available for displaying favorite images. This consultation really helps me to understand your vision for the session and allows me to plan with your wish list in mind so you will love the end result. Once you book your senior session, I will provide you with my senior planning guide, which covers everything from what to expect before, during, and after the session, as well as clothing and makeup tips to ensure your session is most successful! Thank you for taking the time to check out Hope's senior blog. And, if you're considering scheduling a fall senior session for the Class of 2021, contact me soon, as these fill up quickly!
Beautiful Alaina is a soon to be graduate of Linganore High and was such a pleasure to work with! I just delivered her gorgeous fine art album and print order over the weekend and am excited to share some of her favorites from her session this past fall! Fall sessions are definitely the most sought after, so if you are thinking of scheduling a fall session for your Class of 2021 senior, be sure to contact me soon (by June, if possible) to ensure you get on my fall calendar! I schedule a limited number of sessions in order to offer you the best customer service, so I do recommend scheduling early. I look forward to working with you!
Natalie and I had such a fun evening exploring the streets of Downtown Frederick on a beautiful fall afternoon for her senior portraits. Frederick is a special place where she and her friends enjoy spending time together, so she knew she wanted her senior portraits taken there! It's one of my absolute favorite locations for senior shoots, so I was very excited! Congratulations to you, Natalie, as you finish out your senior year! I know you will do great things!
Kayleigh is a senior at Westminter High, graduating with the class of 2020! We enjoyed the most beautiful evening at a few of my favorite spots at the Monacacy National Battlefield for her fall session. We couldn't have ordered a more perfect evening, weather-wise, and the golden light that evening was absolutely gorgeous! Here are just a few favorites from her beautiful senior session . . . I am so excited to finish designing Kayleigh's beautiful, fine art album that will showcase many of her favorites from her session!
I just love high school senior sessions! Emily is a senior at Oakdale High, graduating with the class of 2020 in the spring! We enjoyed time in Downtown Frederick for the first half of her session, then made our way over to the Monocacy Battlefield for the last half of her session, which is the place to be during the golden hour. The light just before sunset there is so beautiful! I just love her beautiful smile! I love the alleyways in Downtown Frederick. The brick and stone walls add so much texture to your photos! We got so many beautiful images during her session that she and her mom had a hard time narrowing down their favorites! I now offer a package to include your entire digital gallery from your session. It is your best value if you want digital files, rather than purchasing them individually. Not only do you receive your entire image gallery on a gorgeous, crystal USB, but you also receive a 4 x 6 fine art print of every image. Perfectly packaged in a custom image box with your favorite image on the cover to preserve and protect your precious keepsakes. It has become a client favorite! Archives October 2019 Beautiful Alaina is a soon to be graduate of Linganore High and was absolutely stunning at her senior session this past fall! Once you've scheduled your senior session with me, I will work with you to offer outfit suggestions and will send you my detailed senior planning guide with tips for how to prepare for the most successful senior portrait session. Even the littlest things can make a huge difference and oftentimes there are details many of my clients don't even think about that I cover in my guide. Professional hair and makeup is available for you, as well, for an additional fee. If you are wanting to book a fall session for your Class of 2021 senior, I recommend contacting me no later than June in order to secure your spot on my fall calendar. Those fill up very fast!
