With non-essential businesses forced to close for awhile, I'm sad to have to postpone my Class of 2020 senior and family spring sessions, but thought this would be the perfect opportunity to catch up on blogging some of my sessions from last spring. It's hard to believe that this session was almost a year ago in beautiful Downtown Frederick, Maryland. So, let's celebrate Molly, who is finishing up her freshman year at Appalachian State University in beautiful North Carolina! Molly has such a timeless, natural beauty that literally took my breath away. We enjoyed our time together in several of my favorite spots downtown, which are beautiful in every season, but especially so in the spring with the lush greenery and budding flowers beginning to surface in the many gardens throughout town. I know I'm not alone in saying that I cannot wait for all of this to pass so that I can get back to working with the awesome Class of 2020 seniors and families I have been planning sessions for. In the meantime, I'm taking advantage of this extra time to work on perfecting my skills through online classes so I can serve you even better when I am able to get back to work! And to my Class of 2020 seniors out there - I think about you EVERY DAY and am praying that your proms and graduations will still go on, even if they have to be delayed! #Classof2020strong

This beautiful young lady and her family contacted me last summer to plan this special session to commemorate her senior year. Bridgette is one of a group of talented young seniors I had the opportunity and privilege of working with this past year. Her session took place in September in a favorite spot of mine, surrounded by lush green fields and golden wildflowers on a warm, late summer evening. Such an incredibly bright, beautiful young lady! We were able to grab a few images of her family at the end of her session, as well! I am currently scheduling the Class of 2021 senior sessions for summer and fall, so get in touch today to set up your in-person consult. Consults will be set up after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted for non-essential businesses. I cannot wait to meet with each of you at that time!
Hope, who will soon be graduating from Tuscarora High with the Class of 2020, was an absolute sweetheart and so excited about having her senior portraits taken! As a Frederick native, it seemed only fitting to take advantage of one of the many gorgeous locations available to us in our beautiful town. This location is definitely one of my favorites and was especially beautiful on this warm, fall afternoon in October! Hope's family chose the beautiful fine art album and some wall art pieces to display their favorites in their home. The album is one of my top sellers and the large wall art always makes an impressive statement in your home, with many frame styles to coordinate beautifully with your decor. As I do with every session, we met for a consultation at my New Market studio to discuss location ideas, outfits, hair/makeup suggestions, and to view the beautiful products available for displaying favorite images. This consultation really helps me to understand your vision for the session and allows me to plan with your wish list in mind so you will love the end result. Once you book your senior session, I will provide you with my senior planning guide, which covers everything from what to expect before, during, and after the session, as well as clothing and makeup tips to ensure your session is most successful! Thank you for taking the time to check out Hope's senior blog. And, if you're considering scheduling a fall senior session for the Class of 2021, contact me soon, as these fill up quickly!
